Toothy Babe - Let me Centrally Incisor you, Ma!

Looks like the Tooth Fairy is not done with me just yet... Yikes!!! NO wonder I've been feeling so cranky lately!! Just when I feel like I'm grouchier than Oscar the Grouch, out pops another 2 teeth sprouts on my upper gums.
I'm on my way to becoming quite a little piranha! Heh heh heh!! All my poor, sweet Mummy can say is, "OUCH!".

Miss you, Daddy!

Daddy's gotta fly off for another work trip... I hope he'll be back in time for my birthday. Mummy says, I'm a big girl now and must try to understand that Daddy's working hard. Bring me some presents when you get back, Daddy!! I miss you already!

Toothy Babe - A New Beginning!

If you havent already guessed from my last post...

Yep! Mummy says I'm a BIG gurl now.. I've just sprouted my first tooth.

According to the tooth chart, it would seem that this visit from the tooth fairy is rather BELATED!! Hmmm.... She was supposed to pay me a visit about 6 months ago!! Talk about a busy schedule! Way overdue visit man!!

Mummy and Daddy were so excited that they kept cuddling me and telling me, "Arie, you're a big girl now! We're so proud of you!" Although I'm not too sure what all the fuss is about... hmmmm.... all I know is that it sure hurts when I run my tongue along my gums.. Ooooh!

Mummy even thinks there might be 2 teeth sprouting, side by side, but can't quite confirm 'cos everytime she sticks her finger into my mouth for a feel, or tries to pry my mouth open to take a look, I'll wriggle and squirm or stick my tongue out to push her away... heh hehe hee.. can't a baby get some privacy around here?

Pssst! I've got a tiny white secret... I'm keeping it in my mouth for awhile.
Mummy is beginning to have her suspicions, because I kept pursing my lips and running my tongue along my gums all day yesterday. She's managed to dig up some photo evidence.

CNY Day 2 - Gong Xi Fa Cai!

I started out the morning wallowing in all the Angpow wrappers I collected on my rounds the day before. I wonder if I'll collect even more today! If there's gonna be a whole lot more to add to my collection, I'd say, "Let's get Piggy with it!".

Not sure I quite understand what LoHei is all about. To me, it just looks like the adults are playing with the food. Tossing and throwing everything into the air. Half of the stuff didn't even land on the big dish Ah Ma laid out. They landed on the table instead! Adults sure do some really strange things!

Reunion Dinner at Ah Ma's

Did I mention that I finally got my push walker some time back and I'm thrilled to be able to stroll all over the house? Well, at least I've got some brand new tricks to show off to Ah Ma and the other relatives this coming CNY!

That's me attempting to stand up and start my stroll around the house, shortly after being let down from the highchair, while everyone else is tucking into the yummy steamboat which Ah Ma has prepared!

Okie, now, a dry run of the CNY visitations I'll be busy with tomorrow...
First, I wow Ah Ma with my walking prowess! Heh heh heh!

Next, I pop down to where Gugu is sitting,

Then, a visit to Sarah jiejie and Jiujiu,

Finally, cap off my practice session with a visit to Ah Gong, who has lured me with some of the yummiest teeny, tiny mandarins.

Daddy calls this my Mad Scientist hairdo! Think I need a new stylist!
Spurred on by her colleagues, Mummy decided to get me a chingchong suit for the coming Chinese New Year! So right after work on Friday evening, Mummy promptly brought me down to Chinatown to take in the sights and try on some suits.

Standing Tall and New Milk

Lately, I've been gaining some new found confidence and have gradually been standing up on my own without wobbling off to fall onto the floor.

Mummy's also been testing out something she calls "formula milk" on me. Sheesh! I feel like a guinea pig!

Slinged!

Today, Mummy was really busy with her work and Papa decided to take me downstairs for a walk in the sling... I wasn't too pleased!
