Caught in the Act – Part One

Eh? What’s this that Gonggong has just put to his mouth? Looks fun! And smells great too!! Ummmmph!

I'm HOT, HOT, HOT!

I didnt have a good night's rest at all, last night.
I really didn't know what was going on with me! I felt really warm all over...my throat felt dry and scratchy, my nose was stuffy...

All I know is that i kept mummy and daddy up all night with me, while they fussed over me. Mummy says I'd caught her bug and that's why I've got a fever. I had a temperature of 37.8C. So she got a gel sticker and suck it to my forehead... It was meant to keep my forehead cool... After that, my temp went down to 37.4C. I could tell mummy was sooo worried for me.

Early this morning, mummy drove us to see Dr K. He gave me some icky medicine which was supposed to make me better of course... But what a horrid taste! Of course I had to put up a big fight with mummy who tried so hard to feed me... all I need is some TLC and a great BIG hug now....

Somefink Fishy!

*sniff, sniff* Do I smell something fishy?

Mama has been feeding me fish porridge! MMmmmmmm! So yummy!! Last week, it was some little fishy called the ngor fish (mummy says thats just its nickname, its really called Mr Threadfin). The week before, I ate some cod. Today, its salmon porridge!! Woohoo!! I think Mama's porridge is just YUM!!

When Mummy and Papa got home from work today, they hugged me and said that I smelled really fishy! Even after I had my evening bath, Mummy thought that I still smelled like salmon! I wonder what's wrong with that? Salmon is yummy! I luuurve fish!!

Dim Sum Dolly

Today is Sunday! Mummy and Papa woke me up to say, we were gonna go out for dimsum with Gonggong and Mama. After that, we would be going to Isetan to do some shopping! Yippee! And so, here I am at the noisy restaurant in Shaw Centre... Come! Join me!

Eh? I wonder what that baby over on the next table is having? It sure looks yummy!

Think I'm gonna have to chew on my fingers first.. Oh! Why is my food taking soooo long?

Much later the same day at home...

The dimsum was delish! I had my lovely melt-in-my-mouth Baby Bites Carrot biscuits, while the adults ate. And, Mummy bought me this luuurvely, guuurly hairband from Isetan. See! Don't I look sweet?

~Blood rush~

Today in class, mummy held me tight while I lay on her legs. While we were singing a song about flying in the sky, mummy tilted me over, and I ended up doing a headstand...Whoa!
I could literally feel the blood rush to my head... not a good feeling... now I'm feeling a little whoozy and seeing *****stars all around me ******

I'm a Bouncing Baby!

Yippee!!! This morning, when I woke up... mummy said, "Hey Ernie! Look what you've got here?" I just could not wait for mummy and papa to put it together... Papa put on the screws and the legs, while mummy put the toys into the slots!!

Here I am, pleased as can be... in my very own Bouncing Baby Play Place!! Whooooopeee!!

Out with Gran

I love going out with my mama... she's my grandma. She takes good care of me, changes my diapers and makes sure I get my favourite cereal when I'm hungry.

She says she's going to buy me a lantern for the Mooncake Festival. Hmmmm...I wonder what a lantern is...

Going potty??!!

Mummy says I'm ready to go the way of the potty.... so this weekend, she's gonna go potty shopping...

Okay.. so we're back from potty shopping....Taaadaaaa!! Here's my shiny new throne!

6th month - What's For Lunch?

Mummy's starting work just as I'm turning 6 mths. Mummy says I'm a big girl now, so I can start to try out some cereal and puree.

After much consultation, mummy decided my first taste of REAL FOOD, would be yummylicious Japanese Sweet Potato! Mmmmmm.... it sure tastes gooood! Now I know why the grown ups love to eat...

5th month~ Chuckles!!

4th month ~ Out with Mum

Back to my life story...at 4 months old
Here I am on my first outing alone with mummy, cos Mama and Gonggong are away on holiday in Thailand.

Pre-flight inspection:-
Sippy cup, Check!
Cool shades, Check!
Seat belt, Check!
Guess I'm all ready to set off with mummy...


It was a pleasant shopping trip and dinner with mummy and Aunty Betty. But on the way home, I just felt a tremendous surge of sadness and howled all the way back home in the car, while poor mummy tried to comfort me and concentrate on driving at the same time!
I missed Mama and Gonggong so much and could not wait to get home to see their faces. Mummy said they would be back from their Bkk trip by the time we got home from our outing.
Hmmmm... I wonder if they bought me any goodies!

4th month~ Olympic flipping

Mummy's been trying to coach me in Olympic flipping. The training's hard... wonder when I'll get the technique right. They say "Practice makes perfect!"

3rd month ~ A Chip Off The Old Block, Bumbo Time!

Whoohoo!! Its been 3 mths since I popped into the world and... wow! Mummy's milk sure tastes good! That's all I ever need for breakfast, lunch AND dinner!


Speaking of which, seems like the adults enjoy having a nice dinner every once in a while too... so, today we went to the Imperial Nanbei for a treat! Yummy! Mummy's milk tasted even better after she feasted!! The picture on the left was taken while we were waiting for our table.


Back on topic, I've been told I look like a chip off the old block...
I wonder...
So tell me, do I REALLY look like dad??


OH and, I really love the new Bumbo mummy got for me! I especially enjoy watching the world go by, while relaxing in my lovely seat!
